能夠引起抽風(fēng)的疾病分為原發(fā)性及繼發(fā)性。抽風(fēng)，醫(yī)學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)稱“癲癇”，是指大腦神經(jīng)元細(xì)胞進(jìn)行了異常放電，引起的局部或全身的癥狀。分為原發(fā)性癲癇和繼發(fā)性癲癇。原發(fā)性的抽風(fēng)可能與遺傳有關(guān)；引起繼發(fā)性抽風(fēng)的原因常見(jiàn)于腦炎、腦膜炎、腦血管疾病等，如腦中風(fēng)、腦出血等。
對(duì)于癲癇的診斷，需要進(jìn)行相關(guān)檢查，如腦電圖、腦部磁共振等。繼發(fā)性的癲癇需要積極治療原發(fā)病，對(duì)疾病有一定的療效。治療還需要進(jìn)行抗癲癇治療，部分患者還可以選擇特殊術(shù)式的手術(shù)治療，方案及療效因人而異。
