傷口是否需要縫針，和傷口密切相關(guān)。
當(dāng)出現(xiàn)開放性傷口時(shí)，需詢問傷口的致傷原因，比如被狗、貓或其他動(dòng)物咬傷時(shí)，大多是不需要進(jìn)行縫合。因?yàn)楸粍?dòng)物咬傷以后的傷口，盡管皮膚裂傷，但是局部的污染會(huì)更為嚴(yán)重，一旦縫合很容易造成傷口的感染，不利于傷口愈合。
對(duì)于刀扎傷或者是皮膚劃傷的開放性傷口，可應(yīng)用清創(chuàng)操作的方法，將傷口內(nèi)的細(xì)菌和異物進(jìn)行大部分的清除在縫合傷口以后，要注意保持傷口的清潔、干燥。只要傷口沒有感染，一般在縫合以后的七到十天，大多可以達(dá)到拆線的要求。
