鼻咽囊腫是指發(fā)生在鼻咽部的一種良性病變。鼻咽囊腫多是由于咽囊的反復(fù)感染導(dǎo)致引流不暢，局部的粘液儲(chǔ)留，而在鼻咽部形成的一種囊腫性的病變。如果鼻咽囊腫很小，沒有任何臨床癥狀，建議病人隨診觀察，動(dòng)態(tài)觀察囊腫變化。如果囊腫比較大，引起局部的壓迫癥狀，導(dǎo)致咽部異物感，或者影響咽鼓管通氣功能，引起耳鳴、耳悶，甚至形成分泌性中耳炎。或者是因?yàn)槟夷[炎癥反復(fù)發(fā)作，導(dǎo)致反復(fù)的破裂或者反復(fù)的感染，出現(xiàn)了鼻咽部大量的黃膿鼻涕，這些情況都可以考慮通過手術(shù)切除囊腫。
手術(shù)多采用內(nèi)鏡輔助下局部囊腫切除的手術(shù)方式。局部切除之后，在鼻咽部會(huì)形成一個(gè)類似于潰瘍的創(chuàng)面，這個(gè)創(chuàng)面完全修復(fù)和愈合，需要大概兩周到三周左右。所以，如果選擇了鼻咽部的囊腫切除手術(shù)，一般在術(shù)后2~3周，鼻咽部的黏膜就能夠完全修復(fù)，就可以稱之為臨床痊愈。
