急性腸胃炎一般是不需要做手術(shù)的。急性腸胃炎，最常見的原因是感染所致，無論是細菌感染還是病毒感染。都可以導(dǎo)致急性腸胃炎、細菌感染的時候，我們這時候除了注意飲食以外，更主要的是針對細菌進行有效的抗生素的治療。對于病毒感染沒有特效的抗病毒的藥物，最主要的我們是支持療法，也就是保證患者。不出現(xiàn)脫水的表現(xiàn)，嚴重的腹瀉時可以給予相對的止瀉治療。
絕大多數(shù)的患者需不需要做手術(shù)的，但是如果對于特殊的患者，比如由于抵抗力比較低，如腫瘤化療的患者或者其他病因?qū)е旅庖吖δ艿拖碌幕颊呒毙晕改c炎。如巨細胞病毒的感染，有可能會導(dǎo)致打出血或者是腸穿孔。在這種情況下出現(xiàn)嚴重并發(fā)癥的情況下，有可能需要手術(shù)干預(yù)。但相對而言，這種情況還是非常少見的，絕大多數(shù)的急性腸胃炎是不需要手術(shù)的。
