沙眼是可以治愈的。沙眼是眼科常見疾病，是由于衣原體感染眼部的結(jié)膜組織后形成的疾病，主要的表現(xiàn)是眼睛充血發(fā)紅，眼部分泌物增多，瞼結(jié)膜出現(xiàn)大量的濾泡及瘢痕增生，角膜緣有新生血管翳形成等，沙眼需要及時的點抗生素滴眼液進(jìn)行治療。例如可以使用利福平滴眼液，磺胺醋酰鈉滴眼液，鹽酸左氧氟沙星滴眼液等進(jìn)行治療，一般規(guī)律治療半個月到一個月左右可以治愈沙眼。
如果沒有能夠得到及時的治療，沙眼的病情逐漸加重，有可能造成淚道阻塞，上瞼下垂，瞼內(nèi)翻等并發(fā)癥，從而嚴(yán)重危害眼睛的健康，甚至導(dǎo)致視力受到不可逆的損傷。
