慢性乙型肝炎是乙型肝炎病毒感染造成肝臟炎癥反應的一類肝臟傳染病，是我國常見的傳染病之一。
HBV在我國主要經(jīng)過母嬰垂直、血液（包括皮膚和黏膜微小創(chuàng)傷）和性接觸傳播。HBV母嬰垂直傳播是指慢性HBV感染孕婦在圍產(chǎn)期經(jīng)過血液將HBV傳染給新生兒。新生兒感染HBV后多數(shù)慢性化，成為慢性HBV感染者，目前通過有效的HBV母嬰阻斷，被感染的新生兒比例大大降低。血液傳播HBV是正常人破損的皮膚粘膜接觸HBV血液，常見有輸血、有創(chuàng)檢查、紋身、穿耳洞等，目前獻血時通過嚴格篩查乙肝五項，輸血傳播HBV很少見。性接觸傳播常見有多個性伴侶、男男同性戀等。
