臨床上沒有叫ED病毒的，應(yīng)該是EB病毒，EB病毒是一種皰疹病毒，在非洲發(fā)現(xiàn)而命名的這種病毒，專門在B淋巴細(xì)胞中增殖。在青春期初次感染EBV后發(fā)病，臨床表現(xiàn)多樣，有三個典型的癥狀為發(fā)熱，咽炎和頸部淋巴結(jié)腫大，隨著疾病的發(fā)展，病毒可播散出其他淋巴結(jié)，肝脾腫大，肝功能異常，外周血單核細(xì)胞增多，并出現(xiàn)異形淋巴細(xì)胞，干擾素和阿昔洛韋是治療EBV病毒感染的理想藥物。
EBV病毒檢查可以檢查病毒的抗原和核酸檢測，都在EBV感染的組織細(xì)胞中存在EBV抗原，采用免疫熒光等方法直接檢測抗原，是診斷EBV感染的重要實(shí)驗(yàn)室方法。
