臨床上治療龜頭炎，可以選擇藥物治療，同時(shí)保證局部清潔衛(wèi)生。
根據(jù)病原體和藥物敏感性試驗(yàn)針對(duì)性的選用藥物。保持局部的清潔，包皮過(guò)長(zhǎng)或包莖導(dǎo)致包皮龜頭炎反復(fù)發(fā)作者，應(yīng)在炎癥消退后行包皮環(huán)切術(shù)。如為滴蟲(chóng)或念珠菌性龜頭炎，應(yīng)夫妻同時(shí)治療。根據(jù)病原體和藥物敏感性試驗(yàn)選用針對(duì)性的藥物治療。
龜頭炎好發(fā)于夏秋季，多發(fā)生于中青年男性，主要發(fā)病原因有：
感染性因素：以細(xì)菌引起為主，如大腸桿菌、葡萄球菌、鏈球菌，其次是念珠菌、滴蟲(chóng)、支原體、衣原體、淋球菌等。
非感染因素：包括尿液、堿性物質(zhì)(如清潔劑)和外來(lái)物質(zhì)(如避孕套)的刺激；摩擦和創(chuàng)傷，包皮過(guò)長(zhǎng)等。治療快需要先明確診斷，尋找致病原因，可以進(jìn)行血常規(guī)檢查、尿常規(guī)檢查、分泌物涂片檢查、皮損組織病理學(xué)檢查確診。
