喉嚨痛常見于咽喉部的急性炎癥，如急性扁桃體炎，急性咽炎，急性喉炎，急性會(huì)厭炎等，都可引起喉嚨痛。多由細(xì)菌感染或病毒感染引起，也可是細(xì)菌和病毒混合感染所致，臨床上表現(xiàn)為咽喉腫痛，咽喉部異物感，并伴有吞咽痛等，有時(shí)伴有發(fā)熱、乏力等全身癥狀。急性喉炎時(shí)還會(huì)出現(xiàn)聲音嘶啞，急性會(huì)厭炎會(huì)出現(xiàn)吞咽困難，呼吸困難等癥狀。發(fā)生該類病變時(shí)需積極服用抗感染藥物進(jìn)行治療，一般選用青霉素類藥物，如阿莫西林等。
也可同時(shí)應(yīng)用清熱解毒的中成藥物，如蒲地藍(lán)消炎口服液輔助治療。急性會(huì)厭炎發(fā)作時(shí)還需同時(shí)使用糖皮質(zhì)激素治療，必要時(shí)行氣管切開術(shù)。喉嚨疼痛時(shí)影響進(jìn)食，可進(jìn)流質(zhì)食物，多飲水，飲食清淡，加強(qiáng)營養(yǎng)。
