新生兒聽力篩查是使用一種客觀、無創(chuàng)的聽力學檢測方法，對所有出生的新生兒做聽力篩查，檢測結(jié)果用于區(qū)分正常和可能異常的人群。當聽力篩查沒有通過的時候，只是提示家長，這個孩子有可能存在聽力問題，需要做進一步的復查；進一步診斷，才能最終確診孩子是否存在聽力障礙。聽力篩查現(xiàn)在作為國家一項免費的先天性疾病篩查的方案，已經(jīng)在全國各地的助產(chǎn)機構(gòu)開展。即每一個新出生的小寶寶，都將接受這個檢查，家長都會獲得相關(guān)的檢測結(jié)果，要根據(jù)檢測結(jié)果上提示的注意事項做下一步工作，或者是進行長期的聽力學監(jiān)測，或者是到指定的機構(gòu)進行聽力學的進一步檢查。
