痘痘一般指痤瘡，主要與皮脂分泌過多、毛囊皮脂腺導管堵塞、細菌感染等因素密切相關。吃辛辣刺激性的食物，有可能會引起臉上長痘痘。
消除臉上的痘痘應改變飲食習慣，少吃油炸食品、肥肉、奶油和甜食等。另外刺激性食物也要控制，如蔥、姜、蒜、辣椒等。多吃蔬菜水果，保持大便通暢。也要保持皮膚清潔，不要用刺激性太強的香皂或者洗面奶洗臉，洗臉也不要過度，早晚各一次即可。對化妝品也要謹慎使用。
也可涂抹甲硝唑凝膠、15%壬二酸等。甲硝唑凝膠聯合15%壬二酸具有抗炎、抗菌、祛痘、平衡油脂、調節(jié)毛囊角化等作用。
