多數(shù)是由于玻璃體混濁所引發(fā)的，玻璃體混濁，是一種玻璃體退行性的改變，玻璃體液化，出現(xiàn)條狀或點(diǎn)狀的混濁物，混濁物漂浮于玻璃體內(nèi)，并投影到視網(wǎng)膜上，出現(xiàn)眼睛看東西有黑影的癥狀。
一般可分為兩種情況，第一是玻璃體混濁，若看到眼前有黑影，是蒼蠅一樣的影子，隨著眼球的轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)而飄動(dòng)，在看到白色背景的時(shí)候最明顯，若視力不受影響，大多數(shù)情況屬于生理性改變。第二種情況比較嚴(yán)重，要是黑影變大或者是遮擋眼前的物體，考慮是病理性的，比如高度近視眼、玻璃體積血、黃斑部變性或者是視網(wǎng)膜脫離等。
