幽門螺旋桿菌在中國總體感染率是非常高的，大概是有30%，有部分地區(qū)，甚至達(dá)到了40%-50%。幽門螺桿菌是消化道疾病，尤其是消化性潰瘍或者是胃癌的重要的致病因素?？傮w來說，幽門螺桿菌可以引起感染、傳播，傳播途徑主要是消化道的傳播。
1983年澳大利亞的教授，發(fā)現(xiàn)了幽門螺桿菌之后，在2005年拿到了諾貝爾醫(yī)學(xué)獎，正是因?yàn)榘l(fā)現(xiàn)幽門螺桿菌和消化性潰瘍和胃癌等疾病是密切相關(guān)的。后來在研究中發(fā)現(xiàn)，主要是通過消化道傳播。所以提倡健康的飲食習(xí)慣，建議分餐制。
