皮膚在與自然界各種因素接觸的過程中，保護(hù)人體的各個(gè)臟器，器官和組織，同時(shí)也極易產(chǎn)生各種過敏性皮膚病、感染性皮膚病和物理性皮膚病，如真菌感染性皮膚病。另外，全身性疾病也可以導(dǎo)致眾多的皮膚表現(xiàn)，嚴(yán)重的內(nèi)科疾患、患者繼發(fā)的皮膚真菌感染等。
真菌病的傳染來源可為土壤、植物、腐敗的植物、水、肥料、皮膚、毛發(fā)、指甲、食物，也有內(nèi)源性的，如念珠菌病。真菌性皮膚病包括淺部真菌病，皮下組織真菌病和深部真菌病或系統(tǒng)真菌病。不同的深部真菌病，表現(xiàn)不同的皮膚損害，真菌性皮膚病的治療主要是抗真菌治療。
