嗓子里咳出臭的小顆粒，是附著在扁桃體方面的慢性炎癥所引起的分泌物形成的凝結(jié)結(jié)塊，一般是慢性扁桃體窩內(nèi)的一種干酪樣分泌物。
扁桃體隱窩內(nèi)經(jīng)常殘留部分的食物殘渣，經(jīng)過腐敗過程會產(chǎn)生一些病菌，散發(fā)出一些臭味。當人體抵抗力下降的時候，滋生的病菌就可以引起咽喉部的疼痛、發(fā)熱等等癥狀，患者查體的時候可以出現(xiàn)扁桃體的腫大，呈暗紅色，表面有凹凸不平的臨床表現(xiàn)。扁桃體炎反復發(fā)作，可以做一些手術治療。在中醫(yī)角度來講，如果是扁桃體炎反復發(fā)作，可以選用一些清肺胃熱的藥物。
