正常人的心率是竇性心律，竇性心律是指心電活動起源于竇房結(jié)。
若是正常人，竇性心律頻率若大于100次/分，稱為竇性心動過速；若頻率小于60次/分稱為竇性心動過緩。
在規(guī)律的竇性心律過程中，有時候因為迷走神經(jīng)張力增大或出現(xiàn)病理性竇房結(jié)障礙，就會導(dǎo)致竇房結(jié)工作出現(xiàn)問題，引發(fā)竇房結(jié)停止發(fā)放沖動或出現(xiàn)竇性停搏情況。
竇性心律不齊就是指在心電圖上顯示竇性心率的起源并沒有發(fā)生改變，但是出現(xiàn)了節(jié)律不整。引起心律不齊的原因較多，除生理性因素，病理性因素也會導(dǎo)致竇性心律不齊，包括冠心病、心肌炎、心肌病、瓣膜病等等，這就需要由醫(yī)生進(jìn)行評估和判斷。
