常見的是急性的胃腸炎，腸道感染的情況。吃了一頓過期的食物或比較涼的食物后，會出現(xiàn)腹痛、腹瀉、拉肚子、水樣便。最主要的原因是食物里面含有細菌或者其他革蘭氏痢疾桿菌，引起細菌占胃腸腔內(nèi)的增殖，引起腸道感染，然后引起腸腔分泌大量的水分，表現(xiàn)患者肚臍周圍的疼痛、腹瀉、水樣瀉。
在夏季和秋季比較常見是急性胃腸道感染，引起來的肚臍周圍的疼痛、腹瀉。其他的原因，還包括闌尾炎、胰腺炎等，也有可能引起肚臍周圍疼痛、腹瀉。
