血管瘤的危害要看血管瘤的性質(zhì)和生長部位。一般來說，血管瘤可以發(fā)生在體表或內(nèi)臟。
真性血管瘤往往發(fā)生在頜面部，危害在于如果是長在眼睛旁邊，有可能會影響視力，影響外觀?；颊呷绻恢委?，外觀不好，影響患者的心理因素，影響患者的生活和工作，所以需要進(jìn)行治療。如果長在軀干部位，病變比較大的時候，可以影響患者的身體功能，影響工作和生活。
如果是血管瘤，長在肝臟一些重要臟器部位。比如肝臟，當(dāng)血管瘤超過5公分的時候，有可能使血管瘤破裂出血，出血會有生命危險。當(dāng)血管瘤長在重要的血管部位，血管會變粗、變大，會造成動脈的夾層造成動脈瘤的破裂，也會危及生命。
