幼兒急疹是急性出疹性傳染病。主要表現(xiàn)為發(fā)熱，持續(xù)的高熱一般體溫會(huì)達(dá)到39到40度，而且一般是3到4個(gè)小時(shí)就高燒起來，用了退燒藥以后可以退但很快就又發(fā)燒。持續(xù)3到4天高熱以后熱退疹出，體溫下降半天左右后全身會(huì)出現(xiàn)一些紅色的丘疹和斑疹。
皮疹首先出現(xiàn)在面部和軀干（前胸和后背），四肢較少見。孩子六個(gè)月到一歲半之間持續(xù)高燒而其他癥狀不典型，如有一點(diǎn)輕微咳嗽、流鼻涕或腹瀉，3到4天燒退以后在面部和前胸后背會(huì)出現(xiàn)一些紅色的斑丘疹且無(wú)嚴(yán)重瘙癢可考慮是幼兒急疹。
