尖銳濕疣是長在外陰、肛周等生殖器部位的疣狀損害。首先，有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的醫(yī)生肉眼觀察即可確診。
疣狀損害表面是粗糙不平的、疣狀的、菜花狀的、雞冠狀的形態(tài)；其次，不太典型的尖銳濕疣，醫(yī)生會(huì)做醋白試驗(yàn)，可以用5%的醋酸去擦拭這個(gè)不典型的地方。
醋白試驗(yàn)顯示那種局限性的、高起的發(fā)白區(qū)域，可能是尖銳濕疣或者隱性感染或亞臨床的狀態(tài)。再次，如果從檢測病毒的角度，直接查疣體表面有沒有這個(gè)病毒，它叫檢測HPV的DNA病毒，還可以將疣體取下來做活檢病理；最后，甚至可以用雜交的方法，通過查DNA的角度確診尖銳濕疣。
