過敏性紫癜是否嚴重，主要依據(jù)患兒是否出現(xiàn)相關的并發(fā)癥。
過敏性紫癜是由于各種原因引起的全身血管炎的表現(xiàn)，主要表現(xiàn)是承重的肢體分批對稱出現(xiàn)出血點、瘀斑或紫癜，俗稱是過敏性紫癜。單純性過敏性紫癜不嚴重，通過合理的控制飲食，給予藥物治療可以恢復，一般不會引起嚴重的后遺癥。
有一部分患兒容易引起紫癜后腎炎，多數(shù)發(fā)生在病后的8周以內(nèi)，一旦引起紫癜性腎炎，患兒相關的嚴重程度就會稍微偏重。過敏性紫癜是否嚴重，主要根據(jù)患兒是否出現(xiàn)相關的并發(fā)癥，如果出現(xiàn)并發(fā)癥，嚴重者可能出現(xiàn)消化道的出血，如果出血量大，還會導致休克等臨床表現(xiàn)的發(fā)生。所以百分之八九十以上的過敏性紫癜不嚴重，短期內(nèi)可以恢復，只有少數(shù)的患兒會出現(xiàn)紫癜性腎炎、消化道出血等并發(fā)癥。
