根據(jù)腫瘤的良惡性、大小和位置，一般有不同的治療辦法。
術(shù)前已經(jīng)明確是良性腫瘤，并且腫瘤小于一兩公分的情況下，可以積極隨訪觀察。如果術(shù)前已經(jīng)明確是惡性腫瘤，一定要進(jìn)行外科干預(yù)。
干預(yù)的方法主要有兩大類，一大類是保腎手術(shù)，單純將腫瘤切除或者腫瘤剜除，或者通過腎部分切的方法，包括開放手術(shù)和腹腔鏡手術(shù)。腹腔鏡手術(shù)又包括傳統(tǒng)的腹腔鏡和目前機(jī)器人輔助的腹腔鏡。另一大類是根治性腎切除術(shù)。當(dāng)腫瘤不能做腎部分切時(shí)，一定要毫不猶豫做根治性腎切除，盡可能完整切除腫瘤，降低腫瘤的轉(zhuǎn)移和復(fù)發(fā)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。
