兒童抽動癥是一種慢性神經精神障礙的疾病，又稱多發(fā)性抽動癥，是指兒童以不自主的、突然的多發(fā)性抽動及在抽動的同時伴有暴發(fā)性發(fā)聲和穢語為主要表現(xiàn)的抽動障礙。
發(fā)病部位多表現(xiàn)在頭面部，出現(xiàn)眼睛眨動、嘟嘴、聳鼻子等，也會出現(xiàn)搖肩或多部位同時抽動。一般5大8歲的學齡前期和學齡期的兒童和青少年為主要發(fā)病人群，但近幾年發(fā)病年齡逐漸趨于小齡化，有些患兒3歲左右就開始出現(xiàn)癥狀。小兒抽動癥不屬于內臟器質性病變，屬于精神神經方面的一組病變，與社會、心理、家庭等各方面有關，因此，小兒抽動癥治療包括藥物治療和心理治療。
