醫(yī)院對盆腔炎通常有4種檢查方法：
第一，婦科檢查。如果患者有宮頸舉痛，子宮體壓痛或者附件區(qū)的明顯的壓痛，可能會患有宮頸炎；如果子宮體有壓痛，可能患有子宮內(nèi)膜炎或者子宮肌炎；如果附件區(qū)增厚，有明顯壓痛證明患了附件炎；當(dāng)附件區(qū)有明顯壓痛的包塊，提示已經(jīng)形成了附件區(qū)的膿腫。
第二，陰道和宮頸管的分泌物的檢查，急性盆腔炎的患者，通常陰道內(nèi)的分泌物是有臭味的膿性分泌物，宮頸往往是充血、水腫。
第三，超聲的檢查，如果患者沒有發(fā)熱、腹痛的癥狀，而超聲提示在附件區(qū)一個臘腸狀的異?；厣梢栽\斷是輸卵管積水；如果患者有發(fā)熱、劇烈腹痛，附件區(qū)有包塊，可以診斷有附件的膿腫。
第四，實(shí)驗(yàn)室的檢查，在陰道分泌物識辨中，如果白細(xì)胞計(jì)數(shù)，中性粒細(xì)胞的百分比，和CRP異常升高，可以明確診斷是盆腔炎。
