甲減是缺碘嗎

碘是合成甲狀腺激素的一種原料，缺碘可以導(dǎo)致甲狀腺激素合成障礙，從而導(dǎo)致甲減。在我國(guó)解放初期，在一些山區(qū)發(fā)現(xiàn)缺碘性地方性甲狀腺腫，是一種缺碘導(dǎo)致的甲減。但是甲減并不都是由于缺碘引起，缺碘只是其中的一個(gè)原因。
甲減的原因主要有兩種：
第一是甲狀腺本身被破壞。比如
手術(shù)或者
放射性治療后，甲狀腺組織被破壞，引起甲減。
第二個(gè)原因是垂體功能減退。所以如果垂體功能減退，不能分泌促甲狀腺激素，就會(huì)出現(xiàn)
甲狀腺功能減退。
另外藥物可以引起甲減，自身免疫性的因素也可以引起甲減。
