最主要的危害是會(huì)導(dǎo)致患者髖部的疼痛，這種疼痛有可能會(huì)放散到膝蓋或延伸到腰部。
疼痛最初較輕微，休息后能緩解，以后會(huì)漸漸加重以至于休息不緩解或影響到髖關(guān)節(jié)活動(dòng)，造成患者不能正常生活和工作，對(duì)患者造成比較大的影響。
后期隨著病變進(jìn)展股骨頭會(huì)塌陷變形，這種塌陷變形會(huì)使疼痛更加明顯，患者會(huì)更加痛苦，以至最后股骨頭變形非常厲害，累及到髖關(guān)節(jié)的髖臼側(cè)，發(fā)展到晚期患者的癥狀會(huì)持續(xù)的時(shí)間更長，休息也不能徹底緩解，會(huì)導(dǎo)致患者走路跛行。發(fā)展到晚期過程大概半年到一年，最長也很少超過兩年，這種情況發(fā)生涿漸的加重，對(duì)患者的生活和工作影響比較大，使患者不能正常工作和生活。
