腰椎管狹窄是組成腰椎椎骨性椎管和纖維性組織異常，最后出現(xiàn)椎間盤纖維環(huán)、骸核的退變、韌帶、小關(guān)節(jié)突退變。這些退變都會(huì)引起增生，最后出現(xiàn)椎管應(yīng)急容積變小，馬尾神經(jīng)和神經(jīng)根受壓，引起下肢感覺(jué)運(yùn)動(dòng)不好；嚴(yán)重時(shí)出現(xiàn)大小便功能等問(wèn)題。
腰椎管狹窄多見于老年人，對(duì)合并有先天性椎管狹窄的患者，中年可能會(huì)出現(xiàn)，一旦出現(xiàn)退變和增生，椎管容積變小，會(huì)出現(xiàn)異常癥狀。
