腰椎椎管狹窄癥是指由于各種原因引起椎管各徑線縮短，壓迫硬膜囊、脊髓或者是神經(jīng)根，從而導(dǎo)致相應(yīng)神經(jīng)功能障礙的一類疾??；在一般情況下，腰椎椎管狹窄癥是導(dǎo)致腰痛，以及腰腿痛等常見(jiàn)腰椎病的病因之一。
腰椎管狹窄，通過(guò)手術(shù)治療的方法，能否根治，如果就病人改善疼痛，提高生活質(zhì)量來(lái)講，可以根治。人體變老退變是一個(gè)漸進(jìn)的過(guò)程，通過(guò)手術(shù)可以解決當(dāng)前的問(wèn)題；但是，隨著時(shí)間的推移，患者可能會(huì)出現(xiàn)新的增生、新的椎管狹窄。但是，并不是所有的患者，都會(huì)發(fā)展到再次需要進(jìn)行手術(shù)治療的地步。所以，采用根治或者是不根治的說(shuō)法，就不是很科學(xué)；如果患有腰椎管狹窄的患者，生活質(zhì)量得到相應(yīng)的改善，患者能夠回歸社會(huì)，就可以認(rèn)為達(dá)到手術(shù)根治的目的。
