神經(jīng)源性膀胱患者需要做一些常規(guī)檢查，主要排除其他的疾病，排除假象。需要做尿常規(guī)化驗、B超、CT等，之后還需要通過特殊檢查確診神經(jīng)源性膀胱。醫(yī)學上術(shù)語叫做尿動力學檢查，它能分辨出排尿的問題是因為梗阻引起，還是膀胱功能本身受到損害引起。
神經(jīng)源性膀胱也可以做一系列的影像學檢查，如靜脈尿路造影、超聲、膀胱造影和尿道造影檢查，有助于評價神經(jīng)源性膀胱繼發(fā)的損害和疾病進展，并可顯示尿路結(jié)石，膀胱尿道鏡檢查、膀胱內(nèi)壓描記檢查、尿流動力學檢查也有助于診斷。
