重型顱腦損傷的恢復(fù)時間，是要根據(jù)患者具體傷情，腦部損傷的類型而定。大部分患者需要兩三個月的時間才能得到恢復(fù)，也有一部分患者恢復(fù)緩慢，還有一部分患者會處于長期昏迷甚至植物生存的狀態(tài)。
一般重型顱腦損傷是顱內(nèi)水腫、腦挫裂傷、患者意識障礙比較嚴(yán)重的情況，恢復(fù)是十分困難的。大部分患者需要兩三個月的時間才能得到穩(wěn)定和逐步恢復(fù)，也有一部分患者雖然在受傷之后，積極地進(jìn)行了手術(shù)治療以及術(shù)后的康復(fù)和并發(fā)癥的防治等一系列很積極的很有效的治療，但是患者恢復(fù)仍然緩慢，然后在后續(xù)高壓氧、經(jīng)顱磁刺激以及脊髓刺激之后，患者的意識情況有望得到逐步恢復(fù)，但是仍然有一部分患者會處于長期昏迷甚至植物生存的狀態(tài)。
所以重型顱腦損傷的患者，還是臨床上比較棘手的一個話題，日常生活中還是應(yīng)該注意自己頭部的保護(hù)。
