急性脊髓炎較嚴(yán)重，未及時(shí)治療可導(dǎo)致痙攣性癱瘓及感覺(jué)缺失、尿路感染等后果，造成復(fù)合性脊髓炎、神經(jīng)性脊髓炎等復(fù)雜病變，對(duì)健康影響極大。
急性脊髓炎較嚴(yán)重。發(fā)病十分突然，可在數(shù)小時(shí)或數(shù)天內(nèi)出現(xiàn)嚴(yán)重癥狀，如劇烈疼痛、身體麻木、無(wú)力等癥狀，若未及時(shí)治療，可引起骨髓壞死性突變，導(dǎo)致痙攣性癱瘓。急性脊髓炎可引起肌肉麻木無(wú)力、感覺(jué)缺失、尿路感染等癥狀，甚至蔓延至人體其他部位，造成復(fù)合性脊髓炎、神經(jīng)性脊髓炎等復(fù)雜病變。
急性脊髓炎若損害程度較輕，病變范圍較小，可治愈。若損害程度大，出現(xiàn)嚴(yán)重并發(fā)癥，很難治愈。
